TruSens™ Carbon and HEPA Replacement Filters All-in-one filter system combines HEPA with activated carbon and a separate washable prefilter. This combination filter has been engineered to capture microscopic particles, allergens and volatile organic components (VOC's), and odorous gases. The filter is at the core of purifying your air. Filter replacement is essential for your purifier to perform at its best. 360 degree filtration draws in air from all directions, collecting pollutants from around the room that may affect allergy and symptoms. Washable prefilter offers the first level of defense against dust and pet hair. Handwash with mild soap as needed. Carbon filter captures odors and certain gasses. HEPA Type filter removes pollutants as small as 0.3 microns that's roughly 30 times smaller than a strand of hair. Replace every 12 to 15 months (depending on usage). TruSens™ Performance Series Z-6000 Air Purifiers are recommended for spaces up to 1,750 sq ft at two air changes per hour (ACH). AHAM-certified smoke Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) value of 485 cfm is ideal for large professional spaces such as classrooms, offices, conference rooms, and businesses. AHAM uses 4.84 air changes per hour, so AHAM values are slightly different. The True HEPA filter helps capture viruses and bacteria, including 99.99% of airborne coronavirus. Activated Carbon breaks down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors. The True HEPA Filter captures viruses and bacteria, including 99.99% of airborne coronavirus. The Activated Carbon Filter captures volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The Durable Mesh Pre-filter captures larger particles such as dust. The pre-filter can be hand washed in between filter replacements. For best results, replace the filter every 12 months depending on usage. Simply open the side panel filter doors for easy replacement. A change indicator light is displayed on the air purifier when the filter needs to be replaced. Compatible with the TruSens Z-6000 Performance Series Air Purifier.
